The Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists is the professional membership association for individuals who currently hold an active license to practice within the state of Florida. FLASHA does not issue or renew licenses, nor provides professional oversight, or disciplinary actions, over licensees.
The State of Florida is the governing body for professionals, responsible for licensing, monitoring and disciplining Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists within the state. The Florida Legislature and the Department of Health established the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology as the regulatory agency for the profession.
FLASHA does not have access to view or answer questions regarding any member license. FLASHA may have limited access to member CEU (Continuing Education Unit) records, but only if the course was reported to the state by the association. We are happy to answer any general questions members or the public has regarding licensing, but strongly suggest that you contact the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology for all licensing questions.
