The Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists employs a lobbyist to represent the interests of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists with regards to legislative matters in Tallahassee.

Chris Snow with Snow Strategies has represented FLASHA for years, and has established strong relationships with key legislators in Tallahassee. His network of contacts ensures that the voices of our members are heard. Through regular meetings with key contacts, ongoing research, and carefully crafted position statements, we are able to leverage the power of our membership to affect change in Tallahassee that supports and empowers our members.

FLASHA, in conjunction with our lobbyist, provides regular legislative updates regarding the issues that matter to our members, and conducts grassroots campaigns designed to reinforce our positions and make our voice heard with Florida lawmakers. We strongly encourage all members, licensees, and the general public involved with our mission to get involved and support the efforts of the association. The more you are involved, the more you are connected, the stronger our voice.
