Membership in FLASHA
The Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists offers a wide variety of membership benefits to working professionals of all levels, retired practitioners, and students. As of June 1, 2017, FLASHA has moved to a rolling dues year, and your paid membership valid for 365 days from the date of payment.
Becoming a member of FLASHA shows your commitment to the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology professions, and provides you with access to professional development opportunities, members only events and webinars, discounted convention registration, access to the FLASHA Connect community and much more.

For Working Professionals
Regardless of your career progression, FLASHA has membership levels designed specifically for you! Each membership tier provides access to a wide array of benefits tailored specifically for your current professional progression.
Regular Member ($125): Regular members hold a master’s degree or higher in either the fields of Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
Clinical Fellow ($50): Clinical Fellow membership is available to Clinical Fellows during their first year of their Clinical Fellowship.
Associate Member ($50): Associate members hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology related discipline.
Regular Members, Clinical Fellow Members, and Associate Members have access to all FLASHA member benefits, are all considered voting members of the association.
For Legacy Members
FLASHA believes in rewarding the hard work and dedication of professionals within our fields. For those members who have been active in both their field and the association, and have reached age 60 or 65, can join or renew as a Legacy Member.
Retired Member ($75): Retired members must be age 60 or older and have had held continuous membership in FLASHA for 15 years or longer.
Sustaining Member ($45): Available to any allied professional or part-time professional 65 years or older, working with or supporting the fields of Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
Retired and Sustaining Members have access to all FLASHA member benefits, but are not considered voting members of the association and cannot hold office.
We believe in the future of our profession, and want to work to develop the next generation of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. That’s why we have created a special category of membership just for students.
For $25 per year, Student Membership is available to any student enrolled full-time within an accredited Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology program at a Florida college or university. Student members have access to all member benefits, as well as access to specifically designed student resources, networking groups and mentoring programs.
For Everyone Else
Our website has a wide array of resources available for interested individuals available simply by registering as a Free member. Furthermore, in order to register for any of our conferences or events, subscribe to our mailing lists, or purchase items from our online store, registration is required (although you will receive non-member pricing).
We also have a special category of access for non-members interested in browsing, posting, or applying to job listings. Our "Jobs Only" access provides 30, 60 or 90 days worth of access to our jobs board for $10, $20 or $30.
Regardless of your involvement within the profession, we have membership that is right for you. Dues may be paid by cash, check or money order, or by using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card.
For your convenience, we have two options for your membership application.
Online: We suggest all members use our secure online membership application below. This simple process takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and upon payment you will have access to all of the membership benefits and website features of the association.
To get started, simply select the membership type you wish to join as, and follow the instructions on the screen.
Mail: If you prefer, membership applications may be completed by mail. Simply download and print the appropriate paper application, and mail your application along with payment to the FLASHA Association Headquarters address listed on the form.
