FLASHA Assists Gulf Coast SLPs With Continuing Education Credit

FLASHA is making the Florida Journal of Communication Disorders available to SLPs in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi affected by hurricane Katrina. The SLPs in the states will be able to receive five(5) credit hours of continuing education by reading the Journal and answering the continuing education questions. These credit hours are made available at the same fee as to FLASHA members--$35.

Speech-language pathologists interested in receiving the Journal are requested to complete the online request form or call 800.243.3574 and request the Journal or click to download. After receiving and reviewing the articles, the SLPs will complete the answer sheet and course evaluation form in the Journal packet. The ASHA bubble sheet and FLASHA CEU form should also be completed. Return all forms along with the home study course registration form and your fee to the address on the answer sheet. Those participants achieving a score of at least 80% will earn the CEU credit.
